If you are having issues with a mod, please read through all the items below.

 

Q: Does the MINIDEX LED effect temperature inside my headset?

A: Nope! We have tested the LEDs powered on running inside a headset for over 72 hours straight in standby mode with virtually no warmth coming from the PCB itself. When the Valve Index is in use for a few hours with your mod installed the only heat you feel on your MINIDEX is created by the headset itself.

Q: Can I control the MINIDEX LEDs from the headset or is there an API?

A: As of now, you are able to program the LEDs using a program on your PC via a MicroUSB. The MINIDEX can save over a dozen different sayings or custom drawings in its memory. There is currently no API support.

Q: Do I ever have to charge the MINDEX LED or remove it from the headset?

A: You do not have to charge ANY MINIDEX Mod, it gets its power from the Index's frunk USB port. You can also always leave the mod in, as even when the headset is on standby but plugged in, you can have your LEDs on display in your room. (Slider switch on MINDEX LED controls this feature.)

Q: My MINIDEX LED wont show up in the programming software, what do I do?

A: Please try a different Micro-USB cable, as we have seen some that have connection issues. With the program open, and the MINIDEX LED connected, you should look bottom left. If your software shows COM1 then it is not detecting the mod, it should show USB1.

Q: Does the MINIDEX DUO turn on or off with the headset?

A: The MINIDEX DUO has a dedicated On/Off switch, with a set 7000RPMs fan speed when turned on.

Q: Does the MINIDEX DUO pull air in, or out of the headset?

A: The MINIDEX DUO pulls hot air out, and away from your face. This prevents fogging, and dust buildup within the headset.

Q: What is your return policy?

A: We like to guarantee our products for 30 days. Everything is hand made, so if you have any issues, please contact us and we will work with you on a replacement as soon as possible.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: Yes, we ship free to anywhere in the USA, and worldwide for an additional $12.99. Please let us know if your country has import taxes and we can work with you.
