The product works, but I had an issue where the board started to separate from the casing (which began to warp). I reached out to the seller and was able to repair with no issues. More importantly, the seller has upgraded (bluetooth) and revised the product (vented upper casing - to prevent heat deformity). Very nice product for the Valve Index.
Good progamming interface, lots of possibilities, also without valve headset
This thing is pretty cool especially if you keep your index on display. I set mine up to display my steam name.
The customization tool is easy enough to use however many of the sizes and fonts aren't really usable because they become choppy on display. This makes alot of ideas unrealistic because the font/size that works is too big to display on the screen.
Also, they should add simple items like eyeballs etc into the mix.
Despite the small fallback, this is still worth every penny. Just know that you may have to compromise on your ideas just slightly
Very cool item! Having a lot of fun with it!
Easy to setup, good options, display has good quality.
Just two suggestion:
1) the device could be a few millimeters smaller, to get in was very very tight, not sure I will take that out :)
2) the app has a bug when sending the msg to the device and showing it automatically after the transfer is completed, but if disconnected and connected, the msg was transferred correctly, just the automatic display after transfer was broken.
